I haven't seen reports of strikes on Tehran tonight. This could be ending.

Waiting until the morning so they can kill off Khamenei 2.0 in the daylight? Like father, like son.

Could be a scenario in which the new Ayatollah is more malleable and willing to play ball.

Let's see how it goes.

If they can attack all the Iranian bases and targets in the Eastern half of Iran that would be a big help.

Sorry all I haven't checked my X feed in the last day and this is all really good information so I'm sharing it. Not trying to spam the thread.

I'm posting from sources that have been known to be mostly reliable in the past or from accounts that are reposting information from reliable sources.

Looks like just a few drones targeting some oil infrastructure. One started a fire in the UAE and the fire is already extinguished.

This is huge. The Lebanese government has never officially negotiated with Israel and have always been under the thumb of Hezbollah. Not because they necessarily wanted to be but because Hez was just stronger than they could deal with.

Hezbollah was supposed to just be a political faction and they were never supposed to be armed. This was by agreement way back a long time ago. Unfortunately the way the Lebanese government is structured Hez was able to gain enough votes to have a significant sway in Parliament and their military several years ago became stronger than the Lebanese official military.

The Lebanese political system is complicated and I'm not going even try to explain it other than it's a power sharing arrangement between cultural and religious groups.

The Lebanese are now completely fed up with Hezbollah and see their opportunity to permanently weaken them.

The problem for the Lebanese is that they do not have a strong military. They can't deal with Hezbollah alone. This may give Israel the green light.

Lindsey Graham kinda confirms report that US was not happy about Israel hitting the oil infrastructure.

I understand on one hand what Graham is saying. If the regime is overturned, then Iranian people can benefit from quick oil production.

But on the other hand if the regime is not replaced they currently use the oil money to fund everything from their proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah & the Houthis), build the missiles and drones, fund the IRGC… the money is not getting to the Iranian people anyway and is bought cheaply by Russia and China…. Seems like a good idea to take it out then rebuild it if there really is a regime change.
