I hope the other US athletes who cried about their own country saw his interview and feel bad about what they said. And then I hope they self-deport and move to China where they would feel more welcome.

Hockey players from the US are overwhelmingly conservative, for the same reasons a majority of professional American baseball players and golfers are conservative. They're all high barrier to entry sports.

Daughter played volleyball. Every now and again there would be a tournament in one of those big sports centers that had ice rinks and we got to watch parents hauling in wagonloads of gear for their hockey kids.
