He was in the Airforce from the age 21 to 45.

What do you think you are missing?

He would be 75 then, no?

I don't math well in the mornings, but something seems off.

Neither do I. I only counted 20 years between 1996 and 2026. I fixed my mistake but that only makes my comment funnier.

It would be the ultimate CIA plot to send a trainer over there to teach them bad tactics.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

It could be a good thing.

He might have been explaining to stay above the hard deck and don't be like Maverick.

Or, stressing the importance of playing volleyball with your shirts off.

Regrettably, not likely in this case. Know people who know him. No one rising to his defense.

Congrats on earning a lot of money in retirement. It's a shame you only had 24 hours on US soil to spend it.

I can only hope this was a setup from the beginning and he laid a trap for Chinese pilots. But that's a long shot.

Even if legal, which it doesn't appear to be, this seems like a morally questionable decision.

Edit: One article had him listed as a Major General. Appears to be a Major.

is this a second case?

because there has been another case of a US pilot in Australia teaching the CHICOMS and that has been going on for years

" Brown arrived in China in December 2023. Day one: three hours answering questions about the U.S. Air Force. Day two: a personal briefing to PLAAF officers. He stayed for twenty-six months. He only returned to U.S. soil in February 2026 and was arrested yesterday in Jeffersonville, Indiana."

He wasn't dis-Oriented until this month.

Orientation and disorders thereof probably allowed him to advance so quickly.

My wife worked for a DOE contractor and had a very high clearance. Daughter flew Vipers , also had a clearance

Though both are no longer doing those jobs, they know things that they can never tell me, much less a foreign adversary.

This guy knew better, he can go to hell. Tomorrow would be fine with me.

China has stolen IP and replicated it for nearly every product and technology across all industries. They've made the world dependent on them and their supply chains and logistics. They've heavily invested in politics, media, entertainment, land, natural resources and industries across the globe and especially across South America, Africa, Europe, and Canada. They are systematically taking over the world while the world sits there and watches.
