China has stolen IP and replicated it for nearly every product and technology across all industries. They've made the world dependent on them and their supply chains and logistics. They've heavily invested in politics, media, entertainment, land, natural resources and industries across the globe and especially across South America, Africa, Europe, and Canada. They are systematically taking over the world while the world sits there and watches.

Unfortunately that's what happens. Their government doesn't care for human life, they don't have to worry about being re elected, theft is part of the business plan, can go on and on.

People need to understand others don't think like us/the western world. Stop trying to rationalize non western ways of thinking, it's a fools errand.

well i know protecting data and IP is an ongoing and difficult effort, but it would be nice if the world would make efforts to kick them out from their foreign investments and wean themselves off of their cheap knockoff products.

Hence why I added they don't have to worry about being re-elected. US citizens can't stomach the most mildly uncomfortable changes to their lives. Short term pain for long term gain is unheard of.

Well I edited it early this morning. So I don't know what to tell you.
They paid for their wars with your tax dollars and also with your untaxed dollars. Inflation is theft.

My wife worked for a DOE contractor and had a very high clearance. Daughter flew Vipers , also had a clearance

Though both are no longer doing those jobs, they know things that they can never tell me, much less a foreign adversary.

This guy knew better, he can go to hell. Tomorrow would be fine with me.

Exemplary gene pool.

He should be executed. I know it would never be approved to slowly remove his skin over several days or burn him at the stake, but execute him one way or another.

If this is how folks on F16 feel, imagine those in charge.

He should be strapped to a wing of an F-16 and released while the F-16 is in afterburner.

Gerald Eddie Brown, Jr., 65, was arrested in Jeffersonville, Ind., and charged with providing and conspiring to provide defense services to Chinese military pilots without authorization, in violation of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).

What is the maximum punishment for violating the AECA? And why can't we charge him with treason so we can hang his sorry butt?

Reporters get terms like "served" and "retired" confused sometimes.

However, there were some Majors that retired at the 15 - 20 year point during the 1990s, due to the peace dividend drawdowns . so this guy could have conceivably retired as an O-4 in 1997, after 15 years.

I personally knew a USMC Pilot that went that route in that time period - and he was good enough to serve in the squadron that flew Marine 1 (or so he told me).

I knew plenty of C-130 Pilots and Navigators that were Majors, stayed in til retirement - great aviators, lots of hours, lots of combat experience, that survived the post- Viet Nam RIFS.

I even knew and flew with some Captains that were extended to the 20 year point, because they had great flight records and we were short handed.

This guy does not pass the smell test though - too many airframes. And the "elite "guys usually were not offered the early retirements in that time frame. And, I don't think he would have been around to fly the F-35.
