I'm sick of the wars. I'm sick of the corruption. I voted Trump every time to clean this stuff. But I'm more confident than ever that they're all compromised.

I'm sick of our leaders being elected on a position and then completely deviating. The whole thing makes me sick as ****.

You had two choices, Harris or Trump. Neither were perfect. One was a do nothing idiot, the other was Trump.

As to being sick as ****, I think you are exaggerating.

I think a multitude of things can be true. Iran can be the bad guy everyone says it is. It's also true we and England played a pivotal role in that being the case in 1953. I also think Islam immigration is one of the most significant threats to the west at large today and it's not being addressed. It's clear the regional countries are the most endangered by Iranian aggression and nuclear proliferation yet those neighboring countries aren't removing the problem. It some how always requires Americans to be on the chopping block.

So Trump was wrong in 2013.

He got it right today.

I am posting these things as talking points. Iran is a horrible regime. I just hate that we are having to put our soldiers and service men at risk and spend our money.

I hate half the country pays no income tax and I hate our giveaway programs, two things where we spend our money but are within our control to stop with paper and a pen. Iran is not within that degree of control.

I don't really care if you think I'm exaggerating or not. I still have my beliefs and you can't change them, and that infuriates you.

This whole situation is insane. They try to convince us to attack Iran. Why? When anyone says it's due to Israeli influence on our government, they're labeled antisemitic. Netanyahu has been in our White House 7 times in a calendar year. He's addressed our Congress. It's ludicrous.

Iran has been on the verge of nuclear weapon for 30 years. I thought we destroyed their nuclear capabilities in the great strike last year.

They try to sell us that the Iranian people are being oppressed. So? People are oppressed everywhere but we don't involve ourselves. We are told we will bring democracy to the region (we don't even follow western democratic values here anymore). These people can't handle democracy.

There's no plan. Just like in Iraq. What's going to happen when the regime falls? The refugees will go to Europe and here.

And like any criticism of policy on this board one must express their allegiance to Trump lest be called TDS or a leftist.

I'm sick of the wars. I'm sick of the corruption. I voted Trump every time to clean this stuff. But I'm more confident than ever that they're all compromised.

Iran is part of that problem. The Iranian Imams have been encouraging Islamic immigration to western countries for years as one of the tactics. Honestly it's the only one that's actually got a chance to work

trump 2025: just gonna bomb Iran's nuke sites real quick
republicans: hell yeah
trump 2026: we're doing a regime change war in iran, some of you may die but that's a risk I'm willing to take
republicans: hell yeah
everyone else: hey we don't want another forever war in the middle east
republicans: cry more libs

This was always a fantasy by some MAGA. Trump was never as dovish as they projected him to be. He is, however, way more hesitant and better at it than his most recent predecessors

So true. The difference here is surgical strikes, assisting other allies (israel) doing the heavy lifting, empowering the local population to create their own government instead of decades long war feeding our bloodthirsty dirty grifting warmongers in congress.

To achieve peace means being willing to fight. Fighting wisely is the difference.

Look it's the Quisling commiserating with the Marxists.

"The War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30-day withdrawal period, without congressional authorization for use of military force (AUMF) or a declaration of war by the United States."

Congress was notifiied. This thing may be over before any congressional authorization is required. Massie is a drama queen looking for headlines.

Senator Fetterman is a better conservative, common sense, congressman than Massie. Thomas Massie is a naive joke, at best. His every action is designed to attract attention to himself not aid in governing.

Are we supposed to divorce emotion from this? Are we supposed to ignore that our government is compromised? I guess we just get in line again, subject ourselves to the propaganda and suffer the consequences. I'm not willing to do that again. I've seen my country destroyed and it upsets me.

I think many are misremembering what trump said.

He never promised no new wars. He said no endless, stupid wars. So, as weve seen, he doesn't considered short, singular action as "war," nor has anything he's done proven to become endless.

So, it is some fantasy on the maga right, along with normal tds people coming together to hate trumps fp.
this is naive. we have 40 years of experience telling us regime change wars in the middle east are never singular decisive actions, but instead endless quagmires that give rise to and endless stream of new problems down the road. yet this time it's differen(T) because… why exactly?

also, very convenient that trump can never betray the "no new wars" promise until they become forever wars once he's out of office
