"The War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30-day withdrawal period, without congressional authorization for use of military force or a declaration of war by the United States."

Trump reportedly met with Congressional leadership of the House and Senate yesterday, I assume to inform them of what was coming. This thing may be finished before the 60 day time limit that would either require congressional approval or trigger a withdrawal.

Agreed. Massie's small government rhetoric pulled in a lot of people from the right but he has been showing his true colors the last few months (maybe longer but I haven't paid attention to it as much as I have lately).

If you have a problem with the sitting President, who is a member of your own party, express your greivances behind closed doors, with that President. Your first instinct shouldn't be to immediately run to thje 1st open microphone and express your disdain to the world - especially when the President is following the law.
