Despite all the establishment spending, Cornyn can't hide from his record this time. Paxton is the first serious primary challenger he's ever faced, and he has the momentum at this stage. I expect the Cornyn attack ads to start ramping up.

Paxton position is much better today

Cornyn would have to force the save act to get Trump endorsement!

Not gonna lie, I put a sizable chunk of money on Paxton on Kalshi after his #s collapsed after the primary.

I wonder if the GOP national will help fund Paxton if he beats Cornyn. The level of pettiness in the swamp seems inexhaustible. I think Paxton beats Talarico but it will be close, easier if he had some national funding.

The Cornyn folks want you to forget about RINO Washington Cornyn. He comes back to Texas every six years, makes a few soundbites for the news and his campaign commercials, and pretends to be conservative - until he's won the primary. Then he goes right back to RINO Cornyn.

This time he finally got a real opponent that is reminding Texans how Cornyn has stood on conservative issues, his lack of support of President Trump, and his terrible judgement on Democrat judicial and exectutive branch appointees. This was John McCain's strategy every 6 years. And the media helped him each time. They loved him while he was beating mildly more conservative politicians but when he ran against Obama the you saw how they went after him. It's all so transparent to sections except the mouth breathers in our electorate who listen to the media with unblinking acceptance.
