Why do we keep hiring incompetent people at the highest levels of government then? Kristi Noem? Pam Bondi? Scaramucci? John Bolton? Michael Flynn? And that's completely ignoring the disaster that Matt Gaetz's nomination for AG was.

It's a trend going back to his first term that I was hoping would end this time around. So far, not off to a great start in that regard

At least he makes changes when an issue is identified although I agree he has made some bad choices. On the other hand, Democrat administrations thrive on incompetence so there is very little turnover in their administrations. Merrick Garland would be a good example.

How about this. Both parties start nominating individuals who aren't senior citizens with mental illness, who can actually, whether we agree with their politics or not, choose people who are at least competent.
