It's not a free speech issue, it's a harassment issue.

I don't care what group is sitting at a table, they should not be approached and harrassed like that in the MSC.

I would say the same thing if the roles were reversed.

This was something that drew me to TAMU. I enjoyed walking around campus and hearing the "Howdys" from the students. Of course that was in the late 80's and things were different.

Before the internet and cameras in everyone's pockets, people used to get punched in the mouth for that kind of crap.
The threat of real consequences/retaliation kept things in check much more often. Now the basement dwellers are emboldened like never before.

Quite frankly, this is what happens when you open your doors to foreigners. Islam will never be compatible with Western Society. Islam will never be tolerant of anyone but Islam. We didn't have issues like this when we were a smaller university full of hard working Texan kids, many of whom were legacies. Now, like our country, A&M has opened the doors to this garbage. Depending on where you are on campus these days, it feels like you're somewhere in the third world, but with nice buildings.

It's that whole generation of "men". I was trying to get dressed the other day at the gym and two of them were having a conversation behind me. They ended almost every sentence with "bro." Basically the 90's valley girl equivalent of "like." They wonder why they're unemployable.

Issue is I couldn't tell if the guy was leftist or far right. They both hate the Zionists and are strange bedfellows when it comes to Israel. I don't think the far right cares about "Free Palestine" which he was spouting but this guy was talking about "America First" too which we know is not a leftist thing.

Well I promise you that in '79-80 during the Iranian hostage crisis not a single Iranian national would have bothered anyone like that or they'd have received the appropriate beat down.

In fact, when the 100 or so Iranian students gathered around the fountains to support the Iranian kidnappers, they were almost immediately surrounded by the corps and it was shut down hard. Next day, all foreign Iranian nationals students were expelled. Great times.

Also, why is it always Iran? Such an annoying hostile country.
