Rhetoric on a message board vs. rhetoric in the face of someone with a camera being waved and taunted at them in what's supposed to be a peaceful setting isn't similar at all. You're comparing action vs. perceived rhetoric based on the assumption that someone on a message board that you dislike would do the same thing. You know those aren't the same, right?

Pretty much. I got permabanned from a city planning subreddit for defining "AFAB" in a way that wasn't trans-affirming. And from another subreddit for saying racist things like Black people would be better-liked if they committed less crime.

Eventually I got a site-wide ban.

Reddit let a lot of transmissions become moderators of multiple subs, once you understand that, the gestapo-like moderation and censorship makes more sense.

The definition of act:

1. take action; do something.
2. behave in the way specified.

It wasn't until you were questioned about such a ridiculous comparison that you backtracked and tried to imply that you meant rhetoric, not behavior. But 'act' implies action and behavior...not rhetoric or words.

Thus making your lengthy response to Brandon nothing but a bunch of avoidance. You were too afraid to directly address your initial statement. Instead of compromising, or being reasonable, you doubled down and chose to go on a tirade about this board being so awful as a way of deflecting from the actual subject.
