Okay, I don't disagree. I don't see how that changes anything I said.

I assume your point is that Fox and Breitbart are a check to the otherwise horribly left leaning media. If those sources are reporting stories targeting Republicans, I am more likely to believe them, but I still give it time because the rush of the 24 hour news cycle has a tendency to bite you in the butt regardless of who the sources are.

Swallwell is a weasel so it's possible he sings to save his ass from prison by cutting some sort of deal. You know he has dirt on all of them.

Someone needs to ask people like that why they were Democrats in the first place.

Because he was buying influence with his campaign donations and realized that dems weren't as good of business partners as he previously thought?

Sure. I just want people like him to say that out loud, and then ask Republicans why they are taking his money.

If you transition from a Swallwell supporter to claiming to be a republican-libertarian, you aren't a serious person.

Agreed especially since the guy should smart enough to know that they are all doing **** like this. He's just trying to bet on the winning horse.

This is what is SUPPOSED to happen with people who do bad things.

Democrats have historically cut them loose and told the law to have at it.

Republicans put them in positions of power and defend them to the end.

Tell me what happened when Swawell slept with a Chinese spy?

I see you have never heard of President Bill Clinton and his dalliance with his intern Monica Lewinsky.

Perhaps you could look it up and revise your post...

My understanding is the FBI told him she was a Chinese spy. He told her the FBI thought she was a Chinese spy. She fled the country before they could detain her. He retained every committee assignment.

Oh, I know what happened to him….not a damn thing

It was a response to the poster who claimed that bad democrats got thrown out of office

Obviously, he was a traitor and nothing happened

Even the feckless republicans would not kick him off the intelligence committee or rescind his clearance

This.

These are the kinds of people who can physically assault children, and still pass a polygraph.

It's unfortunate that they're allowed to even live, but that's just the way the world is.

The worst part about it is watching them point their finger at everyone else, while giving interviews.

In 1980, I went to work for an older CPA, in fact he was certified on the day I was born. So, much of his clientele was his peer group. Old and retired or retiring. One day, I was the last one in the office at lunch time and this old man came in and asked if I would give the check he was holding to my boss. Was to go with his extension. It was a tiny sized personal check and was for $1.6 or $1.8 million. I had only been with the firm a few months but I knew his name and that he had sold his business. I asked what he was going to do now that he was retired and he said move to his ranch and clip coupons, he had bought a ton of municipal bonds.

After lunch I gave my boss the check and commented that he must have had a pretty decent business and he replied well, he should have. It was a construction company and he would wine and dine some of the county commissioners, mayors, and other elected officials down at his ranch in South Texas on dove and deer hunts. He would run some *****s across the border and someone would take pictures, not naked sort of stuff, but the girls not wearing much, sitting in laps, while everyone was getting drunk.

Seems as if he got a lot of the contracts let by the various entities. My boss told me that he didn't think the client blackmailed anyone but they knew that there were images that they would never want to be made public.

Depends on how it is employed.

The Deep State is a thing. But it is not run by some Star Chamber full of billionaires and Rothchilds, etc.

It is the net effect of entrenched all beneficiaries of government largesse from Federal workers, contractors, NGO's, unions, etc. each protecting and trying to expand their turf.

Yes, it's the ultimate US bureaucracy. Bureaucracy's essentially become organic entities of their own accord once they get big enough and entrenched enough.

Maybe. But in this case, it's the democrat machine and not the deep state. Same people who installed Joe Biden and nominated Kamala Harris: democrat kings behind the curtain.
