She took the interview for sympathy and the woe, is me. There's no other reason for a person making $270k per year to be taking an interview like that.

She got a reality check that her 'skills' are worthless and wanted to complain about losing her plush taxpayer funded job.

She messed up by telling everyone her salary

But some shamed the woman and were happy she lost her job. I think that is not a good thing.One poster claims she committed fraud. She just took a job legally offered to her.

If one is sufficiently stupid to whine on line, one should learn to take the heat.

It's more like the press interviewed her and created a sob story for views. She didn't post about her "plight" herself, did she?

She agreed to the interview.

OK. But that does not mean she was whining or complaining. She may very well have been minding her own business.

The journo may have asked to talk to her and she said yes and the journo created a sob story to make the story exciting. They do it all the time. More clicks and views.

So, she whines for clicks?

Yikes. Forget it.

And then after being hired, quickly figured out she was being paid A LOT of money for 1 hour a week of work vice 40 hours, of OUR taxpayer money, that is theft/fraud and she was a part of it.

No sympathy here

Let's assume, for argument's sake, that some of the USAID work was worthwhile. They should be able to hire people to do it, even at the senior VP level, for a hell of a lot less than $272k per year.

edit - What's it worth? I'm thinking for a senior VP, 19 bucks an hour.
