Matt Walsh has weighed in. With f16 being a notoriously tricky place for sarcasm, I do believe ultimately dry humor Matt Walsh was attempting a funny here. But he's still spot on in the mockery of the looney left lies…

Quote:

I'm officially convinced. It was a hoax. The Trump Administration recruited a leftist Kamala Harris voting Trump hater to participate in a staged assassination that would include the shooter getting shot at and then locked in federal prison for the rest of his life. The Kamala Harris voter agreed to this plan, that works against his political and personal interests, because he's just like a really generous guy. Meanwhile the Trump Administration, despite dastardly planning multiple assassination hoaxes, decided to keep their patsy alive and a permanent liability to them, rather than just killing him like they could have easily done. They did this because they also are really strangely generous in a very odd and specific way. So in summary we have a plot where all parties involved are working against their own interests with no real discernible benefit to any of them. There is no evidence of this plan and it doesn't even make any intuitive sense and the motives for everyone are unclear if not insane, but still I believe it because I'm a very smart person.

progressivist activist marxists poison the masses with hyperbolic propagandist lies and intentionally fill our mentally ill population with fantasies about murder and death not only to politicians but to anyone who is against socialism or who wants smaller government and lower taxes. then the progressivists can just say, look - he was just mentally ill and construe biased data to say something like "both sides".

If it is the media, ir some other third party's fault, why aren't all of us motivated to commit murder?

Or is it, perhaps, that some are inclined to being irrationally influenced for some reason?

Being of weak mind =/= mental illness. As backintexas2013, being stupid is not a mental illness. Hell, being evil is not a mental illness.

If you kid beats up another on the school bus, we are to excuse it as mental illness and treat with medicine? Another bold strategy, that led to an unfortunate reality that a pill doesn't fix lack or morals, ethics and a sense of personal responsibility. All things the libs have trashed with ever increasing fervor.

You seem to be equating an explanation with an excuse. They aren't the same.

Unfortunately, some mental illnesses aren't effectively treated with medication.

We do have a difference in beliefs about evil. I believe evil is a concept created centuries ago to explain things we didn't understand before modern medicine and science. It's why "witches" were burned and people believed in vampires and werewolves. I believe in reason, which I accept makes me a heretic to some. I don't believe in a fantastical, magical idea of "evil." We're unlikely to agree on that, and I'm ok with that.

It's not a matter of having different "concepts" of evil. You are attempting to redefine evil, human / animal nature & instinct, etc as mental illness. That's a bridge too far for me, and likely for 99% of all well-reasoned folk.

The act of a deranged individual and the security failures aren't funny. The ridiculous lies and conspiracy theories are amusing to a point...then they become tiresome.

I think the lack of "deranged individuals" shooting at Democrat Presidents should not go unnoticed.

How is it that all of those mouth-breathing, hyper-violent and racist rednecks that all of the Smart People tell us is the biggest threat to safety in America managed to go 8 years without firing a shot at our first black President?

Carter: No shots fired. (Rabbit doesn't count as an attempt.)
Clinton: No shots fired.
Obama: No shots fired.
Biden: May have been assassinated during his term, but no one noticed. But no shots were heard....or what the Dispassionate and Non-Partisan Watchdog Media (TM) calls "loud popping sounds".

I'd think that someone going on what he thought would be a suicide mission is likely mentally ill.

Correct. And being radicalized in a cult / belief system is not a mental illness, though libs try and say MAGA / Trump supporters are a cult but their worship of the Blue Sky Reddit Bible is totally rational and well-grounded.

Good thing you are not in the military, then. There was an 80+ percent fatality rate for pathfinders during the WWII. Yet soldiers still volunteered (could not be compelled for that duty) to parachute behind enemy lines and radio back info while simultaneously avoiding capture and killing.

I can't seem to locate it now, but earlier today I ran across a study that shows that tolerance for political violence against the opposition increases along with level of education.

So maybe Mr. Cal-Tech learned more of something other than science.

Looking at the same time frame:

Reagan was shot by a disturbed individual trying to impress Jodi Foster.
GHW Bush: No shots
Dubya Bush: No shots

Is there language that politicians and civilians need to tone down? Absolutely. Do I think mentally stable people are encouraged by such language to produce acts of violence? Unlikely.

The sheer volume of violent and inciteful rhetoric is far different now.

Not to mention the digital spaces for the village idiots to congregate and validate their twisted views. And then you throw in bots to fan the flames and give the impression there are even more idiots than there really are…

We live in different world than when the Bush's were presiding… and it ain't good.

So maybe Mr. Cal-Tech learned more of something other than science.

Higher educated folks tend to reject religious institutions and beliefs with many a genius choosing atheism or at best agnosticism as their core belief structure.

So with that moral compass removed, their "enlightenment" leads them to take on the wild beliefs of other "enlightened" folks due to both the absence of that core belief structure provided by religion and an ongoing sense to want to belong.

So absolutely agree with your take, just adding there are multiple layers to his concept.

Further, then many come until direct contact with proof that shows them wrong at such a fundamental level that they simply can't reject what they thought was right. They then double down and get further radicalized. Pride.

No hotel is secure ... until you secure it.

The Washington Hilton should be easier to secure than a lot of other hotels because of the way it was built. It was built with presidential visits in mind. It has specific security features for that purpose, including a pseudo bunker where the president stays before events, fortified construction in event spaces, and a secure underground garage for presidential vehicles. Despite the initial security failures at the checkpoint on the terrace level, there was virtually no way the shooter could have gained access to the ballroom, much less the president.

They are relocating the Temple Mount to be underneath the White House in all likelihood. This will of course require the use of aliens and their technology in order to accomplish. Rumors are the Western Wall will be first to relocate, where it will be guided in gold stolen from Fort Knox and known as the Kushner Kotel & Synagogue at the Trump White House Resort, Conference Center and National Mall Golf Course.

It all becomes so clear. I imagine Cole Allen was about to reveal all of this when he was apprehended.

The space lasers and weather machines are under the Temple Mount where the Knighta Templar hid them.

Word his we will use the same extraction team that they will use to collect the Iranian nuke dust aka space laser fuel.
