I mean Trump regularly says he is not a deeply religious man. I do not believe he regularly attends church and obviously has made some personal choices over the years that are not necessarily very fine examples of Christian living.
However, he respects other who are faithful, across not just Christians but also Jews and Muslims. Folks would do well to stop ascribing some die hard Christian persona that Trump has never shown or tried to sell to anyone.
I would much rather have a mostly secular slightly Christian Trump than a devil in disguise Carter.
Even former Quaker Nixon was better than Commie Carter.
Carter was the last true legitimately Christian president this country had. It upset people then, it upsets people now. As hard truths tend to do.

You'll have to explain to the low iq libs what self immolation is. The get all burned up when they don't know things.
And this is good Trump. It's a request, not an order, to stand with your friends. Like a moment of silence.
If choose not to observe, just be respectful of others as they observe in their own ways.

Trump is calling on ALL Americans — regardless of faith — to observe a national Sabbath from sundown May 15 to nightfall May 16 in honor of the nation’s 250th year.
A president invoking Shabbat for the whole country.
Biblical times. 🙏🏽🍷❤️ pic.twitter.com/0nv7BEwOJW
President Trump calls on all Americans to celebrate faith & freedom with our Jewish American brethren on May 15 as part of the 250 year celebration!
Love to see a uniter in the White House. The country needs it after the Obama led division of us all. (Yes all of us).
Some will probably be against unity. The horseshoe gang has that in common.
(Frisco area can do Ramadan as alternative)

The proclamation does not call on all Americans to observe the sabbath. Read it instead of just going on what this x post says.
Did we get the same post for Easter? America is a majority Christian nation meanwhile jews are like 2%.

Great Trump. Amen. Antisemites can go self immolate on social media, but this is great stuff!
Hatred of the Jews is a rejection of the ultimate Jew, who kept the sabbath by the way.

This is dumb. What did the Jews do to that ultimate Jew?

Same thing every single one of us did, you and I included. This is such a sick take.

Good point. Lots of people claiming Christian superiority ignore the concept of "Jesus died for your sins".
If folks want to skip the Bible thump part and go to history, the Romans were sick of the locals causing a ruckus. Jesus and his friends were just part of that ru just.
Roman's asked for a head, Jesus was offered up. It was not some grand children of Moses revolt on a man named Jesus.
So pick your poison but holding Israel or modern Jews accountable for Jesus's crucifix on is beyond ******ed.

If they are not of the Christian faith then their status as Jew holds no bearing and they are still condemned.

Imma pass on doing any of this. Are the jews going to reciprocate and do whatever the Christian equivalent of this is on Israel's next major milestone birthday?

That's Jewish not Biblical.
I have no issue if that's how someone wants to spend that time.Gigem314 said:Thunderstruck xx said:

Bacon, bourbon, and watching reruns of Walker, Texas Ranger?
