I mean Trump regularly says he is not a deeply religious man. I do not believe he regularly attends church and obviously has made some personal choices over the years that are not necessarily very fine examples of Christian living.

However, he respects other who are faithful, across not just Christians but also Jews and Muslims. Folks would do well to stop ascribing some die hard Christian persona that Trump has never shown or tried to sell to anyone.

I would much rather have a mostly secular slightly Christian Trump than a devil in disguise Carter.

That can certainly be your faith. Just understand not all share you same faith and beliefs. And in the political world, it's generally ground upon to judge others based on their religious beliefs alone.

Hence why I separated out religious v historical. The religious part is relevant and interesting, but it's a matter of feelz not facts when it comes to religion.

If religion was all fact based, folks would have no use for faith.
