Lol, Nacogdoches is a University town, now sip town, since tu system is finding place to spend (despite student body wanting to affiliate with A&M). There school system sucks, despite all the pinheads who teach how to teach. Few years ago, they had to beg for teachers and administrators
Real estate is cheap, still pretty place, I can see liberals retiring there, along with ne'er do wells from Houston who followed students and hang out in town- all likely Talarico voters.

I would not call those cowboy boots. Very strange looking with high heels and the toes turned up weirdly. Cringe.

Pretty sure I could pick out the college professors and other government employees in that crowd. Doubt you'll find any timber industry people in that room.

I don't get the Take Texas Back thing. Texas is one of the best states, if not the best, in the country. People are flocking here. The economy is thriving (compared to other states). There's plenty of opportunity. What the **** are "taking back?"

Agreed. I paid $5/gallon for Super Unleaded last week and nobody seems to care.

Everybody is just rolling through life like normal. No colonies of homeless tents, the streets don't reek of weed, no junked out RVs parked on the street.

There aren't shuttered businesses everywhere like Los Angeles or Vegas after the subprime crash.

You've got a university there. Filling a 200 or 300 seat room to capacity for a popular democrat is nothing. You've got enough democrats there regardless that he'd probably draw that crowd without the university, but talaricos people are smart enough to hold rallies in small venues so it will always be overflowing to the social media and regular media view.

Beto drew a big crowd there too. Gina hinajosa just filled a room in nac to capacity, albeit a bit smaller.
