Personally, I think Collins is worthless when it matters. But still her ass on the seat is better than this dude's.

I don't see how they can keep this going with him on the ticket. He will change zero minds of people that have voted for Collins and the dirt they're digging up with six months to go tells you just what they might still have in the bag.

I think they will wait until the polls are utterly underwater to pull some sort of 'Toricelli' on getting another nominee onto the ballot somehow in November. It's not like they care one iota about primary voters/process/laws. If it's obvious he is going to get fried in the election vs. Collins they will figure out some way to illegally replace him.
