You have to question the mental acuity of dems to even think this guy would be a good senator. They are either truly evil or will just vote for literally anyone with a D beside their name. He's a literal Nazi; not the made of up version they always accuse conservatives of being, but an actual Nazi.

I saw a meme the other day about how Texans shouldn't vote for Paxton because he is an adulterer (Nevermind the morality of his homosexual opponent), but Mainers should vote for Platner despite him sleeping with/sexting 6 or 12 (he contests the higher figure) women or something like that (and of course says some women deserve to be raped etc).

Made me laugh, because that's how they think.

I think...
Urban dwellers tend to rely heavier on government services and see them daily. City parks, the library, public transportation, sidewalks, civic events, you see the police the firemen everyday.

Get two blocks into the rural area and there's a great deal more self reliance.

There's a lot. Been out for a while, but if you only read or watch MSM, you'd never know about it.

They included victim blaming for rape, discussing pleasuring himself in port-a-potties, denying the holocaust, promoting "fighting fascism" with AR15s, ridiculing Purple Heart recipients, etc.

There is zero doubt he tried to get sexual media from underage girls on Kik.

When you volunteer with the Catholic Church they make you go through a mandatory background check and you have to take a course that teaches you about how sexual predators operate and how to identify them, due to the past scandals.

Kik is named verbatim in that course as a chat app that exists for young high school age kids to video chat each other, it was essentially a cam version of TikTok. Adults use that to try to groom kids.

Him being on there with a suggestive pic shirtless in a towel speaks volumes.

All these things plus cities also tend to have more government jobs. I would be willing to bet that even in conservative rural counties the precinct around the county seat is less conservative than the rest of the county. Ron Swansons are a rarity among government employees

News media is partly responsible. Even local news in major cities falls for the progressive leftist crap.

Many of those city folks are sitting around on their ass all day not going to a job, and they need free stuff, and hear about it 24/7 by those wanting to stay in office at whatever level, to get their money and power-trip. Media and leftist politicians enjoy cocktails together that we are paying for, one way or another, in a never-ending circle.

Most country folks are busy working and producing things, and raising their kids to be productive citizens, so they can enable the above to happen.
