Maybe it was always the plan. It allowed someone to take all the arrows for months with someone else to appear out of nowhere at the end with a limited period for opposition attacks.YouBet said:
lol. They always have an out to usurp their voters.

I saw a meme the other day about how Texans shouldn't vote for Paxton because he is an adulterer (Nevermind the morality of his homosexual opponent), but Mainers should vote for Platner despite him sleeping with/sexting 6 or 12 (he contests the higher figure) women or something like that (and of course says some women deserve to be raped etc).
Made me laugh, because that's how they think.

One thing's for sure: modern democrats hate democracy.
Not caring about him wheeling six chicks at once when he was married is your choice

Not caring that he pretends to be a populist when he went to one of the richest prep schools in America is your choice
Not caring he went to war saying he always wanted to kill people is your… https://t.co/G0WiXryjIh

You have to question the mental acuity of dems to even think this guy would be a good senator. They are either truly evil or will just vote for literally anyone with a D beside their name. He's a literal Nazi; not the made of up version they always accuse conservatives of being, but an actual Nazi.
People wanted Platner because he felt like an authentic Mainer. Unfortunately, they were correct.

I have been to Maine twice and have yet to figure out what a typical Mainer is. The coast is your usual suspects of socialists and liberals. Go about 20 miles inland, and Trump signs are overwhelming. It is like a lot of states where the population centers lean left, and the rest of the state leans right.
About the only thing authentic about Mainers is the lack of melanin.

I have never understood how cities are so far left? Are people just stupid? How does the country rural redneck know better than a city person, they are literally in same state and just minutes to 4 hours away and it is a huge difference in politics
Crazy to me

So the Ds are going to jettison ANOTHER candidate they already voted on and handpick someone to go in their place?
The party of "everyone must vote" is really the party of "yeah you can vote but we are ignoring what you said". It's comical.
Communists always require you to be a member of "The Party" in order for your vote to count.Mathguy64 said:

I think...
Urban dwellers tend to rely heavier on government services and see them daily. City parks, the library, public transportation, sidewalks, civic events, you see the police the firemen everyday.
Get two blocks into the rural area and there's a great deal more self reliance.

Seems they walked right past all this.

News media is partly responsible. Even local news in major cities falls for the progressive leftist crap.
