I'll be glad when this story is over so I don't have to keep seeing pictures of a dude taking a selfie of himself with a bath towel wrapped around him...with a toilet in the background.

There is a 2 week window coming up where they can replace him on the ballot and they will. Republicans may have come out with the Oppo research too early on this one.

Can they force him off the ballot? Just take his name off and replace him or does he have to agree to it. The guy has no shame so that wouldn't work.

He won the primary. If he doesn't withdraw not much they can do. The party can withdraw financial support but they can't just erase his name.

No way. He's using this to get Janet Mills back into the race vs. Collins, whom he'd backed initially anyway. Yesterday they had Platner in a room with around 5 democrats asking him about 'credible' sex assault charges before launching this piece via their NYT party organ press. Platner had to abandon DC early after the 'surprise' attack of Dem senators. This is all being played out according to plan to shift the nomination in the month of June (Platner can still resign until around July 11th and party can Kamala-select the replacement). Ironic that Bernie was one of the questioners.
