Are you implying he did something, other than be in the restroom, that induced the other man to behave that way? I haven't seen anything showing that.

I take my 4yo daughter to the women's restroom and that is her preference. Other women have walked in seeing me waiting by the stall, has never been a big deal.

No. He didn't do anything that induced the other man to behave that way. The reaction of the other guy was his own.

I am just saying that there were also other options that this dad could have taken that would have kept his daughters equally safe without creating a commotion that this guy (un)surprisingly tried to monetize almost immediately, depending on how you look at it. At the end of the day, its poop and peepee, it all goes down the hole.

If you set up a GiveSendGo or GoFundMe for a mild inconvenience to capitalize on a culture war topic, you're a dishonest grifter by the very definition.

I tried to lay out the dad options for bathrooms in my own experience and a lot of other dads with girls have agreed with, and this should have been the corner case that rarely happens, but the dad who filmed this admitted that he would never take his girls into the men's room because they are yucky. That leads me to believe that he has been doing this for awhile trying to get a reaction and not for the protection of his daughters (who I have already said were uncomfortable with what happened based on their reactions) or doesnt have enough contact with his children to know that they are capable of handling restroom business on their own, under his watchful eye.

Also as a side, this idea that some people seem to have that their daughter is going to be assaulted or taken by a man hiding in 20'x15' female only space with a single observable entry and exit point that is mere feet from where you are and where multiple adult women are likely present as well is just silly. It's just an astronomically unlikely event and you don't make other decisions on your life like that.

This is the safest time in the history of our species to be a kid, from the standpoint of physical assault/abduction and early death.

But again, protecting them in this hypothetical is being there and immediately available to intervene in the astronomically unlikely event you happen to be one of the minuscule number of fathers ever put in that situation. What's the guy gonna do, chloroform them and assault them without them screaming and without you getting suspicious when they're gone for more than 90 seconds? Is he gonna burrow out through the back wall so you don't see him trying to leave the one entry/exit point with your child?

Your child was EXPONENTIALLY more likely to be harmed or killed on the car ride to get to wherever that public restroom was. Do you worry about that at all on a day to day basis beyond making sure they are buckled in?

Everyone seems to have these pet scenarios they claim to worry about and would NEVER apply that logic consistently across all aspects of their lives because it would be impossible to live that way.

Call it whatever you want, but if you're gonna argue it's not worth pointing out that a foreseeable consequence in response to a non-criminal act could have been avoided then I have a dismissive eye roll for you. I could list 50 such scenarios where, had we not been having this conservation, you'd have immediately noted that party B was in the wrong but party A could and probably should have avoided the situation altogether. We all operate this way all the time because it's how you navigate life as a functional adult without dying or otherwise making your life far more difficult.

Look, I get it and I agree with you on this point and likely many others, but this didnt have to happen.

but when you admit that you would never take your daughters into a men's bathroom ever because it's too yucky, film a person crashing out about it, and set up a gofundme less than 48 hours later, can you at least agree that this guy;

a.) is not around his girls enough to know what they are and are not capable of doing independently.
b.) should not have posted his distressed children on social media in the women's bathroom, complicating the issue by several orders of magnitude

Prior to April 2, 2025, we would say high school track meets in Frisco, TX are relatively safe, and the likelihood of someone being stabbed and murdered in plain site is incredibly low. Look where we are today.

It's all incredibly unlikely until it happens one time, and in some situations, one time is too many.

Common sense should prevail here (but it's 2026 and that's long since left the discussion in most, if not all, topics.

The dad announced his presence. No one was in the restroom. His little girls used the restroom. They were washing their hands. In a world of common sense... no harm, no foul.

Looks like his female dominated employer/industry felt the same.

This is just a typical ugly divorce playing out on social media in real time. Not to throw support behind either of these guys but what the man's wife or her lawyers say literally couldn't be more useless in terms of determining the actual facts of the situation.
