Interviews have got to be a huge distraction, and in my opinion they shouldn't be allowed to interview current coaches until the season is over.
Kafka's first interview was virtual on Sunday. Now, in-person on Wednesday as Houston's search moves forward. https://t.co/Q6MtHeWpbP

The #Texans will conduct a second interview with #Broncos DC Ejiro Evero for their head coaching job on Wednesday, per source.

Evero impressed in an in-person interview last week, and now getting a longer look. He has interviewed for all five vacancies.

I'd be worried that the Giants success this year is more on Daboll (who has a past record of good offenses) vs. Kafka. . . said:Kafka's first interview was virtual on Sunday. Now, in-person on Wednesday as Houston's search moves forward. https://t.co/Q6MtHeWpbP

I guess it would bring a certain air of sophistication to discussions to be able to legitimately call the team's performance "Kafkaesque".

I heard a replay of John McClain's segment on 610 yesterday 'discussing' the coaching search. Jeez...What a putz.
Host (Lopez and whoever is on with him IDK): So John is there a frontrunner right now for this HC job?
JM: No. [takes a deep breath] If there was someone they liked more than the others then they'd have made a hire by now. [wheeze]
H: But John there's got to be a front runner. There's always someone they favor at this point in time but they let the process play out right?
JM: Nope not the case at all. [starts staring at his cheeseburger]
H: So if you were betting who would you put your money on?
JM: Demeco Ryans [starts eating cheeseburger]
H:So in your mind he's the front runner?
JM: Not I already said there is no front runner. [said with mouth full of cheeseburger...proceeds to swallow] That's just who I think they end up hiring.
H: OK...So he's YOUR front runner.
JM: No [wheeze] I didn't say that but I guess so. [starts eyeballing host's cheeseburger] I think we'll see a front runner emerge after 2nd interviews.
H: Well yeah because after 2nd interviews they'll hire someone right?
JM: Maybe maybe not. [mouth full of host's cheeseburger] Every team does it differently. [finishes host's cheeseburger] They may wanna do 3rd interviews. [starts eyeballing producer's cheeseburger]
LOL...Why even put this guy on air?

It was cringeworthy.
Lopez and the other dude were dumbfounded and were basically laughing in his face.

There was regression in Buffalo this season after losing him. What the Giants did this year was impressive but I think Kafka needs more time as an OC under Daboll before he gets real consideration and opportunity.
Josh Allen also didn't look as good this year which I'm guessing impacts Dorsey's candidacy for any open spots.
No clue, I listen to the Texans All Access podcast every so often and he just rambles when they bring him on. He hardly even stays on topic and they still act like he's giving good info.maca1028 said:Ag_07 said:W said:

I'll never understand why he keeps getting airtime.

McClain had a cameo in like 2 or 3 movies and thinks he's a Hollywood celebrity.

I know it won't happen....but that would be so gloriousBuck Compton said:
That would be absolutely hilarious to drop back from 2 to 6 and Indy still takes Levis at 4. That would be amazing. Double whammy of a divisional foe's failure plus us getting more picks and getting better quicker.
Don't forget the Jets taking Sam Darnold #3 in that same Josh Allen draft with Baker.W said:
regarding Levis...all it takes is one.
hard to believe the Bears took Trubisky at #2 overall and the Browns took Baker at #1
