not really sure about the trade but i do love the pick. rutledge is exactly what this team needs on the interior. he immediately improves the run game. plays with a mean streak

Tell ya what, if Stroud is not a pinata next year, it was worth it. I'd love for them to also snag Bisontis early in the 2nd if he's still there. Just keep stacking that line until it is a strength.

Ok, we traded our 3rd (69) for Buffalo's 3rd (91) and then gave them another pick later in the draft. So we still have both 2nd round picks 38 & 59. So not as bad a trade as I thought

not that this means anything but i can at least say this is the first caserio o line pick that's felt like a home run to me. if it's true that sf was going to draft him, i can't fault the trade to secure their guy. i think rutledge is the best guard in the draft after ioane. before anyone decides they hate the pick i recommend watching some gt games. this team was soft on the interior, rutledge goes a long way to fixing that

I'll take it back now that I found out people got 59 and 69 mixed up in the trade for the Texans. We dropped from 69 to 91 in the 3rd round and kept both 2nd round picks

That was their 2nd trade down, Woods was taken29th and the 9ers original pick was 27th
