First team to 10 may win next week
9 would have been better for us.

I think if we were to win; the most likely divisional round would be @NE (NE and BUF winning)

Love this for the Texans
Rogers won't survive the game against our defense.

I keep thinking about him vs the Browns two weeks ago. He barely held onto the ball because he didn't want Myles to break the sack record on him.

He is just not mobile anymore. It's understandable due to his age, but he is limited in that regard. That is good news for the Texans.

Why are there playoff games on Monday night? That seems... stupid.

Stat to know: Entering Week 18, the Texans were tied for first in the defensive version of ESPN's receiver scores with a 77. This means that Houston's defensive backs did the best job of limiting opponents' ability to get open, make the catch and generate YAC relative to expectations. This is a testament to outside cornerbacks Derek Stingley Jr. and Kamari Lassiter, along with nickel Jalen Pitre.
Quote:
Stat to know: Entering Week 18, the Steelers averaged 2.74 seconds from snap to throw, the quickest in the NFL. The conjunction of that number with their league-low 5.7 average air yards per attempt makes for a telling descriptor of a Steelers offense that relies on throwing to running backs, screens and YAC (65% of passing yards from YAC entering Week 18, tops in the NFL).

The one thing that worries me about the Steelers is their use of multiple TEs.
Given how the Texans have had struggles defending TEs that's the one aspect I don't like about this match up.

Point differential vs. quality of opponent could really pop this to show a rudimentary power ranking that includes strength of opponent. Texans played the hardest schedule among AFC contenders by far.Sea Speed said:
Interesting and funny tweet you have to click to expand. Seems like the Texans had a handful of blowouts and the Steelers won some close games or were absolutely blown out on their losses. Lol at the last one.Point differentials for 2025 playoff teams...
