Surviving the ground isn't an element on that play because he had already made another football move (a couple steps, reaching for the 1st down).

Nah. Seahawks were moving the ball well in that last drive. They would have at least gotten into FG range if they needed it.

Muffed punt, not taking the 3 points, and defense's inability to get off the field on 3rd and long doomed them. Good for Seattle. Seahawks are about to win their second Superbowl, bc the pats honestly have no business being there. They should've lost today to a team led by Jarrett stidham, but some bad coaching decisions prevented that. Seahawks have a fun team, but this is a very underwhelming Superbowl.

Congratulations to the Seahawks for hanging on for a 31-27 win over the Rams to make their 4th Super Bowl appearance and first since 2014. As a result, the Patriots and Seahawks are set for a XLIX rematch in Super Bowl LX. As a 49ers fan, I am torn between rooting for the Patriots winning an NFL-record 7th Super Bowl title and the Seahawks winning a Super Bowl at Levi's Stadium, which would be their 2nd Super Bowl title overall. I think I am leaning towards rooting for the division rival Seahawks to deny the Patriots an NFL-record 7th Super Bowl title.

I'm a huge Hawk fan but these teams in the playoffs in general were not great. The 2013 Hawks would kill this 2026 Hawk team. But better to be lucky than good sometimes. Hawks are catching a nice break with the weak field. Even with that said they are no doubt well rounded and well coached. Scrappy team.
