Didn't get a shiny because I was at a conference and could only check in the bathroom lol but I got a 96% w rock wrecker.
Is a rock type attacker very useful?
I guess they crush electricity and bird, but those types aren't commonly used in the game.

Finally did some ultra league battles tonight after taking a while off. I had a rough few days in a row of great league as I leveled up and said eff it
Went 4-1 in premium battles using Venusaur (petal blizzard & sludge bomb), giratina-a (dragon moves), and marshtomp (hydro cannon)
Went 3-2 in regular battles experimenting with lucario, charizard, togekiss, and poliwrath (ice punch is great when the other person opens up with Giratina or Venusaur)

Really really sick of all the comm day starters in GBL. I have none that fit the league because I missed a ton when I was off of POGO and the ones I do have are powered up past the cap.
Really tired of crappy encounter rewards. Winning 4 matches is not easy, so seeing a snivy/oshowat/tepig EVERY ****ING TIME makes me not care about it. Niantic needs to post true odds, not pictures.

Almost as bad as my 3rd week of a Woobat. **** that thing.
4-1 with Arcanine/Snorlax/Clefable. And my reward was a Machop.

He's pretty much the main dragon type of his generation right?
They've already had dratini and bagon community days. That seems to be the only time I ever see dragons in the wild.
It keeps them rare yet attainable. I'm sure a community day is coming. Pseudo legendary days are always huge.
Just tried to solo a machamp twice and my app crashed both times. Incredibly frustrating waste of my time and I have no machamp or rewards to show for it.

I wouldn't say handing them out, but the starters need to be removed from the pool, along with meditite and machop. If they want them for the lower levels, fine, but take them out at the higher ones or turn down their frequency. No reason for them to be there.
I did too. Except it worked and I reminisced about how "hard" I worked to build a solo team a few or so ago. This time I walked thru him caught him, got 6 rare candy, and had no glitches.Saint Pablo said:

This. I only play in shopping center parking lots. My theory is that people go to parks and place lures, which only spawn non-CD garbageABATTBQ11 said:caleblyn said:

Question-will the radar thing tell you if there is a shiny nearby or does a shiny display as regular?
Try parking lots. I was cruising around the parking lot of the shopping center down the street and had 4 within 15 minutes.
ETA I've always had my best community day luck with shinies in shipping center parking lots. No idea why.
I think Adventure Sync is broken again too. I spent the weekend moving (only had about 20 minutes to play of Community Day and lucked into a 3 star shiny Rhyhorn) and was logging 10,000+ steps 3 days in a row. Registered 0.4km total
The latest update turned off Adventure Sync for a lot of people, such that you have to reactivate it in Settings.
Just did battle league on my side account, and the competition was insanely bad at level 2. I obliterated a guy TWICE with nothing but gardevoir.
What're y'all running in master league? I don't get to do many legendary raids so I ran Mamoswine, Swampert, and Melmetal
How hard is master league? Will non level 40 mons be competitive? I hardly power mine up past level 30 due to candy/dust cost

I'm only lvl 37. I went 0-2 and lost badly with a few random teams. I switched to metagross and got 1 person to quit and swept the next 2 opponents. I didn't even get a chance to use Melmetal or Dragonite.
Used my Ultra League mons again and have had no problems

Everyone else has that problem, so you'll be fine. Type matches are most important.
Went 2/5 in my first master league experience. Mamoswine with powder snow, avalanche, and ancient power is great. Mewtwo charges quickly so that's a plus. I started with scizor a few times to counteract Mewtwo, but when the opponent doesn't start with Mewtwo he's just not strong enough.
Is there any reason to play Go Battle League past Level 7? I got my Lucha Pikachu outfit plus Scr**** on both of my accounts, and the prizes aren't really intriguing anymore outside of the 7 rare candies

About as much reason as there is to do anything else in this game, let alone even play it.
Man I hate master league. I am not able to raid very much so I am running a team of non legendaries and I get annihilated every time.
I went 4-1 with Metagross, Mamoswine, & Machamp. I have a ton of legendaries. The only issue I've had so far is with Kyogre. I've been able to handle all the dragon, steel, rock types I've been seeing all the time.
