What about Arcanine with wild charge? Takes care of the steel types, too.
I'm just spitballing, haven't tried it.

I have a shiny Arcanine with Wild Charge. He is the only mon I have that can hold his own. He was great in Ultra. Would lead with Arc, with Venasaur and Vaporeon coming off the bench. Allowed me to counter anything that the would counter the Arc with. Very rarely did I find someone leading with ground.

However, Master League is a different story! I get smoked every battle. I am 1-14! LOL!

Clone Pokmon have the community day moves!! Hopefully I can find some people to go after Venusaur and Charizard with me!

What type of mons do you guys see in masters?

Nothing but legendaries?

I've been seeing a lot of tyranitar, rhyperior, mewtwo, dragonite, salamence, kyogre, groudon, darkrai, and mamoswine.

Keep in mind that they haven't reset the rankings at all yet.

If you won a lot of great league and ultra league matches already, it's punishing you because you're playing higher level players now.

Since I lack legendaries and most of my mons are at level 30. Masters league just isn't a priority.

Revamped my team...ran Garchomp, Seampert, and Metagross without the CD move and went 4-1. Was rewarded with a Snivy.

also, for random rewards from GBL and raids, are y'all getting far more charged TMs than Fast? Or just me?

Same. I've gotten back into a rut of poor opening matchups. I wish you could see your opponent's line up and then pick openers against each other instead of playing rock, paper, scissors.

I've gotten 200 charged TM's.

Had to throw some away unfortunately

Masters is tough. I am a 2 or 3 wins per battle player. I would say that about 90% of my losses are when I see a Dragonite. I have nothing to counter a dragon. My best fairy or ice is not good enough to take a high HP Dragonite down, therefore, I have to gamble that a dragon doesn't show up. I do better vs. Garchomp, but he causes problems also. I love all these trainers throwing out their Community Day Rhyperiors. My Vaporeon lays waste to them!

Switched out Mamo for Kyogre. He just murders Groudon, Mamoswine, Rhyperior, & Tyranitar.

Is it just me, or did pvp go back to broke AF? Switch doesn't work half the time. Charge attack doesn't work half the time. I keep getting hit by a double charge attack bug too. I just had a giratina hit me with back to back charge attacks in less time than it could have taken to charge just one, so it couldn't possibly have charged twice.

Remember it's still preseason.

The ranks and stuff don't really count right now. The main purpose is to test the system and get out the kinks.

Well there are definitely a lot of kinks for them to work out lol. Seems like a mountain given past remediation of bugs

Something to consider with the double attack, I lead with my Arcanine and will charge him until after my opponent uses his first charge. It is a delay tactic to think that I have a long energy gain charge attack. They will usually hold a shield and then get hit with a Wild Charge. More times than not, they go to sleep or come close to it. Then I have my second charge ready to go or I fast attack them to sleep where I have two charges ready for the next mon.

They're introducing kinks. I just used avalanche against a dialga and got ancient power instead...

What happened to me was immediately after it came out the first time, so couldn't have had a charge built up in reserve. He got 2 charge attacks off in the time it took me to get 2 quick attacks off (psych cut, so a fast attack). Timing wise, that's not possible because no combination of quick and charge attacks charges that fast once, much less twice. That tells me it's probably a server sync issue.

There's also a very annoying new bug after switching Pokemon when one faints. When you bring out a new one, the switch menu immediately comes right back. It happens pretty constantly for me, and it would be less of a big deal if it didn't sit directly over charge attacks and prevent you from launching them until you close the menu. When it first started happening, I switched Pokemon again without meaning to because the menu popped up as I was trying to launch charges or spam attacks.

They desperately need to implement a side menu for switching if they want to continue this format.

That's been happening to me since ultra league. It's brutal

Just caught Thundurus as a Go Battle League reward. I don't think he's supposed to be there so get after him while you can!!
