I noticed this too. Their app they always try and push as more accurate showed 0% chance of rain Saturday even though it had already been raining for a couple of hours. They got it wrong all weekend and the other standard apps that Shel used to dog on were right.

I worked recovery in the total disaster in Bandera after the hurricane in 1978. I think there was about 27 deaths then. There has been damage from hurricanes in the Texas Hill County for decades and probably for 1,000 years or more. Also work on Katrina recovery. They had zero to do with any possible climate change,

Lol, no. I neither watch them nor follow them online, other than the weather app. I just find it odd how obsessed people get over a small town weatherman, whose online posts can be easily ignored.

They aren't weathermen, they are trying to be influencers. That's the problem we have.

They are absolutely weathermen. These guys are doing their job -- which they are college educated at and well-qualified to do.

Just because someone says something you disagree with, especially if they are more educated than you in the matter, doesn't mean they have an agenda. What possible benefit do they get by lying to you? Neither of these guys are rolling in cash.

Being a weatherman is a not particularly well-paid public service job with ****ty hours that take you away from your family during some of the worst of times. They put YOUR families above their own in order to keep the community safe. If you don't like that agenda, I don't know what else to tell you. Bringing out the pitchforks for these guys is beyond misplaced.

Good lord. Rusty is the very definition of a keyboard warrior.

I knew we lived in Shel's head. Now I know we live in Rusty's. I think the Fauci bobble head was too close to home. I guess there is no chance he recognizes that the real issue is reporting that "rain is wet" while ignoring stories like the Copperfield apartments. He does read the news better than anyone else at TV 3 though…I'm just glad we still have Bill Oliver and WTAW. Their daily email and 5-6 pm is where I find most local news.
