Last I was told was that he had a disagreement with the owner of the business he shared a parking lot with there, and that would be an impasse until they changed their mind.

that's the worst Popeyes in America. I went in after waiting in the drive through for half an hour and then getting back half of what I ordered. I was the only person in there when I went in and they never looked at me for a good 5 minutes. After I finally asked for some help, they acted like I destroying their day.

we went to the one in Bryan once. they were very nice inside. but a group of contractors were getting gas as well. they all went in and got beer and crap to eat. they locked their damn keys in the truck though. instead of trying to get in the normal way, one of them pulled out a giant pick ax from the back of the truck. they broke the sunroof window to get in. one of the craziest things I've seen. everybody around was just staring in awe.

Looks like it won't be for long...

We used to go to Rads a lot but don't anymore. But on Fridays they have half priced apps and drinks special. So a glass of wine or two and an app is pretty darn cheap. That's all I get is one app.

Great red beans and rice. In a former life when I lived in my car and could not stop for lunch my favorite Popeyes order was Two Spicy Breasts Please....(they were easy to eat while driving)

Re: Tad's and Rad's… the town where my wife got her undergrad, there's two chicken places near each other… "Chicken Annie's" and "Chicken Mary's". They were two sisters who owned one place and had a falling out. The kids at Pitt State are fiercely loyal to one or the other "Layne's vs Cane's" kind of thing,
