Tomorrow is the last day for Meddlesome Moth. Sad day for the Dallas beer scene. I don't go as much as I used to now that I live on the other side of town, but not many better places to discover and enjoy top quality beers with awesome food.

The tryptic stained glasses of Elvis, Chuck Berry, and Jerry Lee Lewis is supposed to be auctioned... hopefully they'll end up in another Dallas restaurant.

They were in the old Hard Rock Cafethat was a church on McKinney Ave. years ago I saw a couple battle of the bands competitions at that Hard Rock Cafe.

Made it to Burger Schmurger yesterday. It was packed 10 minutes after they opened (they probably opened a little early) and there were people waiting outside soon after.

Cool spot and the staff was really friendly. Food was excellent.

They don't seem to be doing take out (maybe do during slower times) to allow the kitchen to stabilize.

Seems like they are off to a good start, though.

We were back in Dallas last weekend for the first time in about a year and a half. Drove through our old haunts (North Dallas and East Dallas).

We stopped by at LCD Coffee on Garland. That place makes good coffee. That restaurant buried in the trees and greenery that looks midcentury modern that's on the corner kind of across from the Arboretum looks really cool. That didn't exist when we lived over there.
