I'm super excited as its a Family round with Pops for an early Father's Day gift. As for balls, I've got close to a thousand laying around so I'll be fine.

I went on a three day guys' trip there and it was such a beating playing 4 rounds in 3 days with 30 mph winds. That course is hard as hell even without the wind. And you are so high up that the wind is insane coming off the water. But it's fun and has great views. Great for one round. Don't think I'll go back for a 3 day trip.

As someone who has played that course and enjoyed it, that sounds like an absolute beating. I would have just hung out on the lake.

Great wireless segment from Gordo as usual. That golf tourney sounded like the place to be this morning.

As great as Ryan Winters or whatever his last name was, I do feel like he took some potential radio from us with the girl.

Gordo was about to peel back the layers but seems like he had to bail after Ryan introduced himself.

Greatness gives, but can also take away.

The first guy he talked to said he was stoned at the tournament and admitted to being a stoner in general.

But the real gold was him saying he was about to be a step dad to a 9 year old girl. Gordo of course asks about the biological dad. And the story was that the biological dad left when the mom was pregnant and has no contact. But, in the meantime, she was with another man that they told the daughter was her actual father. And, to this day, they still act that way. She spends weekends with that dad. (now, to be fair, I wondered if an actual adoption took place that was never mentioned.... which would make sense). It was a lot.

He also admitted to knocking one out on the couch yesterday when Gordo asked him when was the last time they made love.

It was gold all the way around.

Gordo found this dude with the wireless who came across like he was trying to big time him by saying he worked at Workday and had a bunch a big clients like Dave & Buster's. Sounded like a Stoner/Chris Chris combo so Gordo asked if he was high, to which he responded yes and then described how he used a vape cartridge or something (not my area of expertise). Gordo asked about his love life and he said he's dating a girl who had a kid, so he again started bragging about how he was doing the noble thing and stepping into the stepdad role. Gordo kept prying and somehow it came out that the dad dropped the woman right after she got pregnant, then she got with someone else and he broke up with her, too, so he was 3rd (or more) in line. There were a bunch of other details in there that I can't remember but Gordo pulled his classic "and what was your name again?" line and the dude gave his first and last, then kept on with his story. Definitely a "had to be there"-type situation that's a lot funnier than how I'm recapping it here, but I'm kinda concerned that this dude isn't gonna have a job tomorrow. Hope it was worth it.

Agreed. Junior's topics are cycling, his daughter's plane rides, a story about his daughter outside a plane, biased and uneducated college football takes, being pessimistic about all pro sports in Dallas. He doesnt have any nuance or hot takes and he isnt researched enough about any sport outside of the Cowboys to really provide any good content. He is just kinda there.
