I haven't listened to the little ticket in a while, but I clipped in this morning for the e-brake this morning and had a rare literal laugh out loud moment.

Caller: Hi musers!
George: Who is this?
Caller: Closet.
George: Uh okay.
Caller: I'm Cooper's brother.
George: [Seemingly confused and probably thinking about all the Cooper Manning jokes] Okay.
Caller: Cooper...the new Mavericks' player.
[SILENCE, followed by recognition, then stifled giggling off mic]
Gordon: Okay, I see. That's a joke for the 1996 Ticket.

Enjoyed Matt and Donnie talking about Father's Day earlier and what their dads have meant to them.

Almost teared up and made me really miss my dad.

Lost my dad 1 year ago today (which is also my birthday so that'll be a fun reminder every year). Couldn't bring myself to listen to that segment - maybe I'll track it down later down the line, as you're not the first one I've heard say how good of a segment it was.

Happy Birthday and it was your dad's final act to make you think of him on your day.

Pretty cool little project for Gordo, voice acting for an animated show being developed for Adult Swim

Like junior I also went to the Perot yesterday with my kids. Saw home coming out as we were going in. Just quickly said hello, fan of the show, and happy Father's Day.

I know I know cool story bro. Never met a show host before, let alone one in the "wild"

Circa 1996 I was at the original Ginger Man in Uptown... saw Miller there with his lady.

Another time, I was at the Cabella's in Allen/Fairview... at the weapons counter... fairly certain it was Gordon that was looking at the rifles or shotguns

I was also a D1P1. Don't get to listen as much now. But my favorite character that appeared during the Musers broadcast was Coach Tom Foolery (and that wasn't Gordo).

Saw jubs at Tom Thumb in Flower Mound. He was looking at the kilbasa sausages.

Yeah Tom Foolery from the Fieldhouse. Think it was one of Craig and George's buddies from UNT.

I've seen Danny at a wedding in Ft Worth 6-7 years ago, and Jub at a HS playoff football game in east Texas probably 12-13 years ago.

Not sure I've seen any of the others in the wild before other than the one Ticket event I went to back around 2002 out at the horse tracks in GP.

I'm sensing a trend. I saw George at a pie shop in Flower mound one time.

Got interviewed by the ticket on their baseball travel trip years ago in Chicago.

We were hammered and you could clearly hear us over the radio waves during the broadcast.

Also ran into them in Denver the next year for their travel trip (coincidentally planned).

Corby. Nice guy in public. Mike is not. Danny is kind of lame.

Corby once on TCUs campus last year on a random Thursday afternoon picking up my son from Kinderfrogs (before he got his hair cut). My son called him "nice lady"

I saw Corby at the PJ20 movie in 2011. He bought a bucket of beers and passed them out to everyone around him.

I saw Gordo and whatever female he was dragging along walk down lower greenville in like 2000. We were on the Beagle rooftop around 5pm and my friend yelled, "The Great Godo" and Gordo waved and said,"What's going on guys!?" I think this is when his wife had a studio next door.

I saw Greggo and Jubs at Dallas Desperados game and was behind Greggo in line for frozen yogurt. No ****, he said, "Vanilla with sprinkles" in a robot Greggo voice.

I saw junior when running the Dallas Marathon. He was with his now wife and was cheering everyone on. It was close to SMU right before you cross 75.

I saw Corby at the FtW zoo once with his kids. He was very nice to people talking to him.

I saw Gordo at the Dax Shepard live show.

Add in my previous jubs run it, and that's all the times I have seen them.

Wait, I saw Corbo walking to the AAC once when I was on a bus or train. I don't know why I was on a bus or train though.

Hopefully the irony will strike a few of you on this thread as funny. Apparently Castellanos also made a comment earlier tonight that he's deeply ashamed of:

Quote:

Outfielder Nick Castellanos was withheld from the Philadelphia Phillies' lineup Tuesday night against the Marlins for making an "inappropriate comment" on Monday, manager Rob Thomson told reporters in Miami.

https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/45532562/phillies-nick-castellanos-benched-inappropriate-comment

The circle is complete.

2002ish my big brother listened to 1310 and I lived w him while interning. Couldn't understand why he listened to talk radio instead of music. Was quite surprised to learn Corby was a dude. Totally thought he was a woman based on voice
