This has been one of the rougher Muser weeks I can recall. No Jub and Gordo's awful voice have me cringing. Add in Norm, Cowlishaw, and Razor it's been all-time bad.

Goes to show how much George brings when paired with Gordo. And how little Junior brings in general.

I've listened to every cirque show so far. And even though I'm not a Danny fan, I'm now all in. The last two episodes were great. Laughed out loud more than I have in a long time at a radio show or podcast. I wish they would spend a little more time on sports but I bet they will when it's not the dead of summer.

And I like how you can see them on video even if you watch on Spotify. The appearance of mike and facial expressions of cash really add to it.

I'm in for now. It's much more entertaining than dumb zone. Dumb zone is better for sports but cirque hasn't really tried sports yet.

I somehow accidentally changed my password. And when I click on change my password, I never get an email. So I haven't been able to use it for a couple weeks now.

Not too upset about this. Too much talent on that team to flame out like they did.

Every single restaurant in that corridor is absolutely trash

The construction in that area on 114 / 121 / 360 that lasted about a decade killed all those restaurants. They just never recovered the business.

The new Cirque show "how to get fired from radio" has a lot of interesting stories that this thread would love. They get into a lot of stuff at the freak, ticket pay, etc.

Their program director at the freak told them that Danny should go to the bathroom on his cell phone on the air and rub one out while Mike and KT bet on how long it would take. And he wasn't joking.

They also vaguely mentioned someone who did not put in any effort and added nothing to the shows at all. I'm guessing that was rhyner. They didn't go into great detail but said they might at some point in the future.

They said the top end talent at the ticket should be making $1 million bc it's mind blowing how much ad revenue the ticket generates but that they are making nowhere close to that amount.

I'm all in on the show now. Illl be listening to each episode going forward. They are so goood at shooting the ***** Could possibly use a little more structure but it's very entertaining.

Probably Rhyner, which that would come as no surprise at all. I guess Kevin Turner is technically a possibility (the only other one it could be). But that has to be Rhyner.

Yea they praised KT so it wasn't him. They also said that their Freefall game (where they start with 12 hosts and if you win a game you get to leave for the day and the go all the way down to 1 host left who is there all day) was rigged for the person who provided absolutely nothing so that person could leave early. So it has to be rhyner.

Neither of them have spoken to rhyner since leaving the Freak. They mentioned that in an earlier episode.

It's funny they mention Rhyner giving zero effort because I needled him on Twitter for not knowing what "NIL" means. He took offense to me saying how bad it was for the show that no one gave him crap for not knowing what it meant.

He was a dead weight and they were all way too deferential to him.

There's a reason his podcast on the "Athletic" lasted only one episode.

I started watching Season 2 of The Rehearsal.

I know they talk about Nathan Fielder off and on, but have they ever discussed Season 2, Episode 3 of The Rehearsal?

I feel like they have but can't remember.

Holy cow it's right in Gordon and Craig's wheelhouse with Nathan Fielder pretending to experience Sully Sullenberg's life including breast feeding as a child. Words can't describe how bizarre it is.

Sorry to interrupt Craig's enthralling remodeling talk…

The death of Brian Wilson yesterday made me think of the Hardline's "three bedroom apartment in the sky" discussions (and subsequent voting) after celebrities died. Those were usually a great listen.

They still do it every Wednesday in the 3rd or 4th segment (somewhere in the 4 o'clock hour). Donnie hops on every week for it as well.

On a positive note, at least we got a Randy Cody segment out of it

Can we all agree Marge the swim coach is done? It lost its appeal years ago. Good character initially as it made George uncomfortable, but it played out 5 years ago non-George.

Randy Cody will never lose its appeal.

Fake Jerry is far and away the best, but Randy Cody is my #2. That's said, Gordo took is easy on Craig today and left a lot of meat on the bone.

Got so deep in the character he even surprised himself with that one.

My favorite as well. Because that's such a wild phrase from a "robot" but not from a football coach. Mount Rushmore 8:40 moment.

For me, a D1P1, Microphone Johnson is the gold standard. If you listened then you know. #2 is Ed Carter, who had a recorded sports line.

Ed Carter cannot exist today but OMG was greatness.

Not necessarily my favorite but Randy Cody has been gold from day 1. He nails the generic contractor role perfectly.

Microphone Johnson was Gordo doing bits and characters with Greggo and Mike before he was exclusively with the Musers.

He interviewed actual DFW athletes as "Microphone Johnson" and asked ridiculous questions. It was primordial Gordon and it was awesome.
