That reminds me of when I started listening, around the same time frame. I had an on campus job working the front desk in a computer lab. It was a sweet gig, the job mostly consisted of the occasional change out of plotter paper, plus it allowed me to get paid to listen to the Ticket online and do my homework. I vividly remember being on shift and listening when Gregg dropped the "do you like this gig?" question to the No. 1 cop, the chief of police, David Kunkel. Those were some great times, and the height of the Ticket IMO. Hell, even listening to Norm was bearable because I knew the crosstalk with BAD radio would yield something good.

Gordon spent 10 minutes talking about Morton Meyerson's passing (exec at EDS and namesake of the Meyerson Symphony/Orchestra) which was really just a bunch of Ross Perot jokes and impressions....
And he only got to one other story which was 5+ minutes on the launch of Frida and OddFellows Breast Milk Ice Cream which had George in a tizzy because Gordon loves to talk about breast milk and he worked the Kardashians in there too. Craig led Gordo down a path where they debated if the donor's picture should be on the carton and if it would help sales.
I don't know it was just classic Muser idiocy.
Made me so happy.

ETA: I didn't think the cirque episode was that good. Comes off as Danny just trying to make a huge deal out of it and was a little cringey. It's ridiculous, but I thought he blew it out of proportion. It sounds like the IJB episode was better bc they were really ripping on kat for a lot of stuff. But I don't pay for IJB so haven't heard it.

I think the biggest IJB rage was Sundays which is behind a pay wall, although they keep ripping Cat on Monday which is free. But at 1:30 on Cirque's Cat fight ep, they play a clip from Sunday's IJB where Jake calls Cat a c-word and puts up $10k to fight him at Fight Night lol
I can't hardly listen to the Invasion anymore. Matt has always been bad but seems to be getting even more annoying.
Just cut bait. I haven't listened to more than a minute of it for well over a year. Between the Musers podcasts, the two free DZs per week + 20-30 minute segments of the others, and now Cirque popping up (although somewhat distant 3rd due to too much Danny), Spotify has plenty of Ticket related content to replace it. I don't listen to the Sweet Spot either, although I'll occasionally scan the Top 10 channel to see if there is anything Monty may have done worth checking out
It's actually kind of amazing to scroll that Top 10 channel and continually see absolutely nothing from the Invasion or the Sweet Spot that looks compelling to listen to. And that **** is supposed to be their best stuff of the day lol

While I understand that Cowboys talk drives the metroplex and is important to a lot of people, I think it's a shame that they are still doing the Ranch Report alongside a long Cowboys segment in this trimmed down version of the Musers.

I was really hoping that losing 90 minutes from the show would cut multiple cowboys segments (and for the love of God please cut "Upon Further Review"), but I'm not optimistic.

Is that still true for the majority of P1s? Sure, the metroplex as a whole, but any Ranch Report segment is an instant tune out for me.
