Why do they need to show the yell leaders and the corps so much. Who watching this show and wanting to get an inside glimpse of SEC football or Texas A&M doesn't know about the yell leaders and the corps and who wants to see that? Can we not have one piece of A&M media without focusing on the yell leaders? They were playing for the SEC championship. We don't need yell leaders and push ups and midnight yell. As someone who likes the program, this needs to stop. Everybody knows the tradition. Good lord let's try story two at some point or are we going to do the same story for infinity. They spent 5 out of the 15 minutes talking about the biggest game in decades on the yell leaders in their dorm. Do the tailgates, the students camping, anything but the most obvious generic same story that's been told for 100 years."

Have they given any hints as to who is playing the pop up show the Hardline is doing the remote for? I thought about going over, but didn't want to waste time if it isn't someone I'm interested in.
Since Jub brought it up this morning, my money is on some Texas "Red Dirt" country artist.
Is anyone still listening to The Musers The Podcast? I found the first few episodes a decent listen, but the most recent few have been pretty boring. It's taking the least interesting "Topic Wheel" segments from their show and turning it to a podcast. I'm not sure what I expected, but I don't think I expected this.
I'm two episodes behind, but I've enjoyed them all so far. I've always loved the Musers topic wheel.
I've enjoyed all of them so far. The "back to school" one was probably the least interesting, but even that one wasn't bad.
Today's Rant Revival was fantastic. Bob with the legendary line "his manure, her colon" sent the segment down a great tangent

I believe that was after John Rhadigan had a brief, failed stint as Rangers play by play guy. He went back to the studio where he made an awkward joke about dreaming he was doing play by play as he handed it off to the guy who replaced him.
The broadcast team laid out on him, making it worse, until Austin Jackson mercifully took a strike.

I think it's about time to start taking on other topics besides themselves. After 9 hours, it's getting a little stale. They are great - just need to venture into new territory now.
Agree, we know so much about them already. Time to bring in guests or talk topics that aren't suitable in long form on the radio.
i only got half way through the last one, thought it was a dud.
