The app is a lifesaver, every Wednesday morning it's basically fast-forwarding through the Cowlishaw crap.

Are y'all still sticking with the Musers podcast? Last week's topic was pet peeves and this week is superstitions. It's getting painful to stick with.

The first few weeks were great, but they need to go deeper/more interesting/less safe/good guests soon or it's going to fizzle out for me.

I made it halfway through the superstitions episode and had to turn it off. I think I will decide to listen or not based on the episode subject/title, but it is not longer a definite listen.

Yeah it's kind of just become long-form rehashed Gordo's Corner topics. Which isn't necessarily bad, but not anything materially different than what we've heard for the past 25 years.

I enjoyed the pet peeve episode. And somewhat surprisingly, Junior's episode where he talked about cycling was interesting. The story about his dad encouraging him to take a two day solo bike ride as a young teenager was really good.

Agreed. It seems like they don't know where to take it from here. They need to start bringing on interesting guests.

They have to just be winging these podcasts because of contractual obligations to Cumulus.

I listen because of my connection but the last two have been pretty damn boring.

Not sure guests would help as they'd just be the usual suspects and nothing exciting.

I've heard him referred as a pedo elsewhere. Why is he called a pedo? Genuine question.


To me he comes off as a tool. I just can't remember where the pedo term comes from. If it is serious or a half joke/half speculation (like junior's "preferences")

Sean and Mino are 10 times worse. McClearin is actually really good at sports talk which the station desperately needs because junior and jub are checked out and Sean & Mino are unlistenable.

What are you listening to?? Not defending Sean and Mino by any means, but McClearin is straight up unlistenable.

He's the most knowledgeable about sports other than Bob and it's not even close. Not saying he's entertaining or that I like their show, but that's 100% true.

Actually Monty is just as knowledgeable and a much better listen. But management doesn't know what to do with talented bench people (see sirois).

I have made fun of the podcast a lot, but the first few were solid. I even thought the Craig "cycling" episode was a decent listen (as someone who bikes a lot). The Gordo "Things I Love" episode was pretty awful and that episode - combined with "Back to School" killed my interest. I'll check the topics and listen on a case-by-case basis.

The weekly "Cowboys" episode with George and Bob was decent last week, but not something I'll go out of my way to listen to.

Yea. I can at least listen to mclearin talk sports. He's good at that. And nothing else. Donny has a bag of nothing. I thought he was great with sirois but it's obvious now sirois was carrying him. Hes so generic it's insane. I honestly think mclearin is better than him. At least mclearin knows sports and neither of them have anything entertaining.

Agree with Sean and mino. I can't even listen to them talk sports. Monty is great. But they will never give him a host spot I guess.
