I think it's somewhere in between the two. I'm pretty diehard with the Mavs, and after the trade and the comments about Dirk's role in the organization, I was in the "ultimate betrayal, burn it down" camp. When the Flagg pick happened, it caught my attention. With a little time, I would say that I am begrudgingly back. I don't feel the "ride or die" love like I did, but I find myself surprised the fire isn't out (like it is with the Cowboys).
Yea good description. I (and all of my mavs friends) will still watch out of curiosity of seeing Cooper. But definitely not living and dying with the games and don't feel really any excitement or positive emotion. Most of us gave up our tickets and I doubt I'll go to a game this year. Just kinda a zombie watching the games, where I used to be all in.

Jub also alluded to prepping for Fake Saban when Ed Werder was on. It sounded way more like a Jub character than anyone else on the station.

And that was my initial thought but the timing was so good on live vs recording. And Saban had a bit of McCarthy in him
The McCarthy sound had me thinking but Jub.

I almost turned it off this morning when Muse in the News came on and there was no Gordo.

Totally agree. I didn't take it as him being giddy at all. He was talking about the unemployment threat that some people are concerned about. He did mention that when this has happened in the past, other career paths have tended to show up and fill the gap, but I didn't take it as him being excited about it.
