If you have no symptoms, you should have to pay for the test out of pocket. This gravy train needs to stop. "Free" tests and "free" shots need to go.

I haven't heard anything, but also wouldn't be surprised. I mean they did cancel it last year and I did IMTX which was cancelled like 4 times before finally occurring. IMTX has way less participants over more space than the Houston Marathon.gougler08 said:
Are they actually considering doing something with the marathon? That is a good way to get a large portion of the city pissed off

My neighbors spent 3 hours on Christmas morning with their 2 young kids getting tested - zero symptoms mind you - so they could go to grandparents house for the afternoon.

How selfish of us to just go from doing Christmas at home, straight to my parents' house that afternoon without a 3hr stop to test in between. The kids showed no signs of being sick at all so I thought it would be ok.

Well don't feel too bad. By killing your parents you helped get us closer to 500 murders in Houston so thank you!

How will the next 6-weeks play out?
We'll soon have the first confirmed case of Opticon in Harris county. It will be a 52 y/o woman from Missouri City that just got back from her daughters wedding in Kenya but stayed in South Africa for a week on vacation. They'll do an interview over Skype where she'll urge people to get vaccinated. A few more positive tests will pop up from other people on her flight.
Hysteria will ramp back up.
They'll be some weird new side effect of opticron on all the talk shows soon.
They'll be rumblings of cancelling the HLSR …
Mid-December - Harris Co poop tests hot.
More rumbling of cancelling HLSR.
Shockingly, HLSR concedes to no Livestock show or rodeo, but will get to have carnival and concerts at Reliant.
Biggest shock will be when the city and county declare the Astrodomain as a 'Vaxxed Only Zone.'
You have to have a phone app and qr code to be on the premises. They'll call the Rodeo Safe app or something like that.
Bump from 12/2/21
