From what I heard, parking is part of the problem, but so is the bar. I guess how the bar is configured inside the restaurant is affecting how food is taxed or some such. I think the combination makes that location problematic.

Haha. Well the Restaurant Depot car racing made the news finally. Last week i heard the fireworks over by my house from it. Cant imagine how loud it is being right next to it.

I'm excited to tell the wife I need to run to Lowes and maybe Home Depot for some obscure home or yard improvement project next fall. That Kirby Icehouse is a perfect location for a quick lunch time stop.

Not sure how far you are, I'm on the Northside of eastern Timbergrove and I could hear the music like it was coming through a PA system. And lots of fireworks and engine. Thinking about rolling in with the Tesla and showin out.

My favorite thing about the Restaurant Depot rallies is the people driving down 18th who just hit the brakes and stop when the fireworks go off. If you think those loud bangs might be gunshots, keep moving! Don't stop and get yourself and everyone else stuck there right as the packed parking lot is about to empty out.

No telling how many times I've seen police break that up, just to see real cool guys right back out there the next weekend.

Tons of traffic up and down Shepherd there, near North Shepherd Brewery, Brash Brewery, Clutch Automotive, LA Fitness, etc.

Has more to do with being behind Tapatio. Also, it's a bit north of GO and SPP. I may very well be misjudging how busy that place is. We'll know in a few years for sure.

There's been quite a bit of development in Independence Heights lately as well.

I think it's a smart move. A place with prices like Hughie's can't afford to be paying top of the market rent.

I'm in SPP and can ride my bike there if I wanted to. It's actually east of SPP, not north.

All kidding aside. Ducho's Steak House was as iconic as Barbecue Inn for those of us from the hood and was in that location for like 40 years.
