Had no idea what a farce the Michelin program is!

If a place is inoperable due to external factors, apparently the Michelin food snob dorks can revoke the Star lol. What a crock.

Then again, a tire business in the food rating game has always been weird.

The irony of all of this is amazing.

A food guide started by a tire company to get people to drive so they can sell more tires might potentially pull their rating because a driving car smashed into the restaurant.

Must not be driving on Michelins.

The guide is for restaurants currently in operation. Hidden Omakase is currently not. How is that hard to understand? How far back should they go to include closed restaurants?

It's pretty forgetable imo. I certainly wouldn't put up with the nutkick that is parking at CityCentre to eat there.

I liked it the one time I ate there. I used to work in CityCentre and could just walk over to it. I would usually go to other places though. Yardhouse, Daily Gather, Tasting Room and now North Italia.

Went last night for soft opening at Hey Darling Saloon on N. Main.

Cool little new lounge spot. Big open patio, huge TV. Good little getaway from the craziness of 20th st and white oak

Hope they can make it, that spot has been a bunch of different things.

Been craving a good muffuletta. Any recommendations? Hot or cold works. Both Paulie's and Angelo'z seem like good options.

You're probably not going to find one with the bread they use in New Orleans, but Mandola's Deli is pretty good.

Haven't had Pauli's in a while, but I don't think they were bad if you can toast them.

This will sound like a joke, but I used to really like the way Jason's Deli made it. Haven't had it in years though since the one I went to closed.

You can also buy the Boscoli olive salad mix in most grocery stores if that's the main draw.

They should sue the driver (and their insurance company) for lost revenue and losing their spot in the guide (if that happens)

That's understandable. Not an aficionado, but the best I've had is from Central Grocery in NOLA which should be a solid benchmark.

Yeah there was some sarcasm in my comment, but people tend to be really opinionated about food.

I've been wondering the same; I loved Alonti at the underground by Sbisa and recently had one at Antony's on 10 by CityCenter. It was good and the kid liked it, but I want to find a better one.

Antonys will always be knockoff Antones since that location switched hands - Antones super original or GTFO

Angelo'z is my favorite one in town, and it's not gonna cost an arm and a leg.

Ragin Cajun's is also pretty good, but they're damn proud of it.

It's a great spot. Food and vibes are 9+

It's the first meal my wife and I filled up after only a few bites. Very rich flavor profiles across the menu.
