Australia rocks. But... it is really really expensive. And... the Tex-Mex is non-existent and the population is fairly homogenized. I mean, it's great if you're into chicks who are skinny, athletic and of English ancestry.

So yeah, I do occasionally fantasize about living in Central Texas - you know, where everything is just right with the world.

I could get back to owning 4+ cars, living in a massive house, plenty of talent in the waitressing department. In October, I ate lunch twice at Twin Peaks in Addison and then headed down to the new Cabelas in Waco and bought an AR-15. There's plenty of good reasons to move back to Texas.

I frequent heitmillers couple times a year and I've enjoyed it every time. Especially the chopped sirloin covered in onions.

We've gone to Heitmillers twice and its been great both times.

We've been there twice and the steaks are horrible. They use a meat press, half is seared the other is pushed through te grates. Service is horrible, so bad tht we haven't gone back Even though we have a gift card there.

Good cheap steaks, and good service we go to lonestar in bellmead.

It used to be decent, at its old place in elm Mott. This new location just dissapoints.

My boss always takes prospective new hires there for lunch. Took me there during my interview day. I've never ventured away from the chicken fried steak. Always enjoyed them.

Dude, I went to D's Mediterranean Grill at 15th and Colcord the other day. So excellent. Had a gyro in a pita, hummus and chips, and a cucumber/yogurt salad. Flavors were awesome. I love that place.

Dont know if its been mentioned or not, but they're building a longhorn Steakhouse infront of Walmart off Franklin. By the McDonald's and chick-fil-a. I ate at a Longhorn Steakhouse in CS and it was pretty good.

Captain, it's not the name that will keep you out, it's the mediocre, chain-type steakhouse food/vibe that'll keep you from coming back.

Don't get you're hopes up about it.

Think Texas Roadhouse.

Hell, it's not even as good as Roadhouse....maybe they use less salt than Roadhouse though.
