Yep. I struggle with getting my better half to understand why I want my vehicles in the backyard rather than out on the street in front of the house.
And for my 7-Series BMW, the only time it leaves the garage is when I'm driving it. I'd prefer that my neighbors and random passersby don't even know that it exists.
For our OP, that's wild that you got the whole thing on camera. Sorry your truck got boosted.
Replying to this comment because it finally got real this morning.
I just got back from visiting my daughter in Virginia last night and when I drove down my street around midnight, everything looked normal.
But, people on my street woke up to find 4 cars with slashed tires.
They believe the culprit was a homeless guy who was walking down the street, yelling about killing babies at approximately 1:45 am. Apparently he stopped yelling after he started slashing tires so I never heard him.
The good news for me is, none of my vehicles were within knife range of the street.
I think it's time to move my security camera project higher in the priority list.
I thought by moving from California to Texas, I wouldn't have to deal with the homeless any more LOL.
Side note - After making my earlier post, I have discovered that there is a guy further down my street who has a brand new 7 Series BMW but... since it's always in the garage, I've only seen it twice.
