Congrats on the weight loss journey. Keep it up!
Last year around this time I weighed about 260lbs (I'm 6' tall), and just felt tired and worn out all the time. I weighed myself this morning and I am currently 216lbs.
Like you, I had let myself go. My wife and I have been married over 10 years and we have two sons. I started a new job January 2020 that didn't require me to be behind my desk for 8-10 hours every day, so being on my feet and a little more active helped naturally. Other than being on my feet more and not making myself full at every meal, I haven't really done anything else.
Until this week. Starting Monday of this week, I've been getting up an hour earlier and walking 2 miles on the treadmill. Nothing crazy, but to help be more active and shed some more unwanted fat. I would like to start implementing some weight lifting workouts to start getting toned and eventually/hopefully start showing some true muscle definition.
My dream goal is to be around 185-190 with some decent muscle. I'd like to be able to go to a pool/beach and not be embarrassed about taking off my shirt.
I haven't read through this entire thread, but if anyone has a link to a good meal/workout plan to get to where I want to go, I would appreciate it.
