Maybe this is the best we can get out of the portal but sorry my first thought is meh...
They got him from Pittsburgh for a season and now he's on the move again...tells me he's following money. Nothing wrong with that but not a great reason for him joining the ags.
I know Pitt football well enough that 4 sacks in a whole season is nothing to get excited about. And his 2 sacks at cu were against Colorado State

He had a season ending injury against Baylor in their 4th game.

Plus we need multiple guys but not necessarily starters. He brings experienve and depth.

If he ends up being the best we grab i will be a little concerned but it's not like he's complete crap.

I bet he's our starting 5 tech. If we get someone better, even bigger bonus. Hes a good run defender. Probably better gap integrity than what we had last year. Not as flashy with sacks, but it isn't like those came to fruition.

For all the accolades our DEs got last year, I have a feeling next years will be much more productive. Like keke and Tyree Johnson or Landis Durham or Michael Clemons were. All starting dozens of games for Elko and better production than our all world des had last year. Just more sound, play within the scheme, football players

Oregon isn't a fringe program that has to take chances to be relevant. Clearly they thought he was worth the risk.
