This is an overreaction. He'd be a good #3 on most teams, but he's the #1 on our team because we have done so poorly recruiting/keeping receivers here. Hopefully the 2+ incoming transfers at the position and Jerome Myles can infuse some much needed explosiveness to the group.

This is true. The talent is not what we thought it was.

Or, hear me out. The players are as good as we and the rest of the country thought they were. But, the coaches aren't what they are well paid to be.

If the receiver catches the ball behind the line of scrimmage, the offense can block downfield
