I don't think they ever revealed what type of foot injury Owens had. But generally speaking, any lower extremity injuries that take 3+ months to heal will result in the player not having full capabilities until the next season.

I have noticed that Klein has done pretty good with the first 15 scripted plays (move the ball well on our first series), but it goes down hill from there. Play calling? Tipping plays? Not sure, but it is uncanny how teams are able to scheme us up quickly.
