To each his or her own. We had season tickets for a few years, probably 79 to 81 or so, I forget. Then kids came along, two deer leases, one or two waterfowl leases, elk hunts, etc. so I cut out the thing I enjoyed the least and that was going to football games. Those that have devoted 40 years or more, that's your business and not mine. I wouldn't have done it, but then you probably would not have wanted to be out in the mud, water, and cold in a lay down goose blind either.
But a couple of posts had me wondering. Wonder what sort of investment in ticket costs, travel, lodging if you didn't drive to and from the same day, parking, meals, etc., it took over 40 something years? I haven't kept up with the cost of attending since we dropped our tickets.
