just for fun...going back to 2013

top 4 reception leaders:

69 - Evans
60 - Kennedy
51 - Walker
51 - Labhart

now that's a passing offense

the "4th" WR in 2013 had 12 more catches than the "1st" WR in 2024

It's definitely a run first offense. But a lot of this also has to do with QB issues and WR talent. There are multiple variables involved. Get Manziel and Evans on this offense and those numbers go up.

But no, it's not going to be like the 2013 offense regardless. It doesn't need to be. Even Georgia's national title offense was not as much of a passing offense as we were in 2012/2013.

Also, don't forget total snaps. That plays a big factor. I think that team averaged 10 more plays per game.

Also destroys your defense over the course of the season.

I miss those days. It was more of a novel offense in the SEC at the time. Now most others have moved to that and we've, well, regressed.

Hey man that's the aggie way. Find something that you do well and then stop doing it.

We stopped doing it well when we lost our 1st round QB, WRs, and OL. Ironic, isn't it? Those guys would have done any offense well.

I don't think you remember how much stress those offenses also put on our defense throughout the year. If you can't find first downs, like we were unable to from all of 2014-2017, you wear them out.

We are reminiscing about Sumlin's style of play. FFS. Damn you Fisher for even putting this in people's minds.

This is not a "nasty" comment… And it makes me uncomfortable to even consider it…

In A&M's recent history, we've had a talented WR with previous non-football issues that sidelined a promising career, and later resulted in tragedy…

I'm praying this isn't a reprise… Wishing Micah the best for Micah…

Football ain't that darn important…

So many idiots posting lately.
Glad I'm not the only one to notice. Just that it's not only lately, some are relentless.

I was just gonna post the same. Not only dumdasses but pretty clueless individuals who say that don't understand mental health issues. Kinda disgusting to see a lot of these immensely insensitive posters. Can only imagine how they treat others in life. Gotta love all the younger Ags who grew up on devices as infants....brain chemistry permanently altered from blue screen time. Just saying.

Hudson get better. Football is simply a game.

That offense sucks ass without truly transcendent talent. And no SEC champion runs it. Teams that do, end up losing a game or 2 every year because that is what that offense does.

It was a fun offense to watch when things were clicking but if they werent our defense would get gassed quick.

Didn't he go to a junior college for two years due to grade issues? I don't know anything about his sack lunch, but he did not play for RC for four years.

I love Robert Ferguson but I am pretty sure he left early and may have attended class less than 10 times total.

Yep. He was gone after 1 season.
