And here is another thing. This is a texas tech insider. There have been narratives on this board of tech not wanting him, and him costing us an arm and a leg in NIL.
But I'm sure some will still believe what they want to. Sounds like tech did in fact want him, and we didn't break the bank to get him. He also didn't preclude us from landing a guy like Nic Anderson. We just flat lost that battle, mostly due to LSU having far more productive WRs than us the last decade.
Micah is still enrolled at A&M and still has a chance to play for us this fall. I'm not holding my breath, but I'm glad we took him, especially since NIL wasn't a game changer. He isn't keeping us from landing talent at DT or another WR.
