Forecast for Saturday is looking bleak. Has anyone heard if game time might be moved up? We are making the trip, packing our ponchos.

Assuming that decision is made by a combination of the athletic departments, field crews and SEC league office
Seems like a real chance the game gets moved to next week since both teams are on bye

Lets just cancel it. Worked out for several teams in 2020.
Has that ever even happened. Extremely unlikely.rsf0626 said:

It's not supposed to be a thunderstorm. The game can be played in the rain.

People acting like games aren't played in rain all the time. This game isn't getting moved.

Believe Bama game that year was later same year and we got killed

Forecast I have seen for Saturday night is heavy thunderstorms and possible tornados (probably means clear skies and 70 degrees - ha!).
Aggie Band supposedly briefed that game time could be changed, for what that is worth.
Would be somewhat easy for ABC to just swap our game for 11 am Ole Miss-Oklahoma you would think, but maybe not.
Maybe LSU will just decide to forfeit due to weather. Coach Bill Curry refused to bring Alabama to College Station for a September game due to threat of a hurricane in late 80s. Weather turned out nice and I don't think the game was ever made up.
Probably because it is the only profession where it pays to be wrong.Heisenberg01 said:Bill Superman said:Has that ever even happened. Extremely unlikely.rsf0626 said:

Then why do all my weather apps have scattered thunderstorms in the forecast for Saturday night in Baton Rouge?

Exactly. Oh is state only needed 6 games to justify their place in the playoff.

And as I recall, Bama had a key starter (RB maybe?) injured and not able to play on the original scheduled date who was healthy on the re-scheduled date. And the weather on the original date was sunny enough for girls to be sunbathing outside The Commons.

I think it was their starting QB ... and the weather was quite nice that day, lol. In the makeup game in December we were without Bucky who had been injured in the Texas game.

Then let's move the venue to college station.
