3 of the 7 teams they've played in conference have zero or 1 conference wins.
Their 2 remaining opponents have a combined 1 conference win.

Their non-conference schedule is Old Dominion (which they won by only 13 points), Kennesaw St, and Indiana St.

I've heard all season how fortunate A&M is to have the schedule we have. The comparison of schedules between A&M and Indiana is not even close!

Half the SEC would be undefeated on Indiana's schedule.

Good news is it doesn't matter. Make the top 4 and playoff situation is identical.

This is why we have 12 team playoffs now. Too many teams like this were stealing good spots from good teams. They will be exposed first round of playoffs. I don't think they deserve a bye, and will get beat down by OSU in the champ game and hopefully fall to 5 or lower.

It doens't matter what number we are, just win the game in front of you. The higher the number in theory means a better path, but it doesn't always. Number 3 could get a better path to the championship game depending on how things fall.

Indiana's schedule is pure garbage and only slighty weaker than tOSU.

Yesterday Indiana beat a coach-less terrible team in free fall...on the last play of the game. Meanwhile the Ags got a solid double digit, SEC road win against a ranked opponent.

Ags are the best team in the country, and its not close.

Indiana would counter with our pillow fight win over Arkansas. That was also using an interim HC, with less talent on their roster than Pedo St has.

I will not apologize for beating up on teams ranked who have beaten up on each other despite a ton of top talent. Obviously, recruiting rankings aren't everything, but they do show a strong correlation with success at the top. Just compare our conference schedules by team composite talent ranking by 247 (therefore not even including our road win at Notre Dame #9)

It is dog eat dog in the SEC, which is part of why some of those teams cited above have bad records. Hard to run that gauntlet when every single conference game we have has more talent than the third toughest team Indiana faces.

We are the only team in college football that has won 3 road games against ranked opponents and people here still say we haven't played anyone.

I'm less upset about an undefeated team being ranked #2 than I am the sports media claiming that was a "Heisman moment" pass. That was a horrible pass. It was however, a Heisman moment CATCH. Big difference.
